The Columbia County Admin and Health project consist of a 2 and 3 story building joined by an enclosed pedestrian walkway. The buildings have a combined square footage of approximately 100,000 square feet. The final network infrastructure will require the installation of nearly 200,000 feet of Category 6 cable. Each building will have multiple equipment rooms that will house the local area network servers and ethernet switches. This equipment will be networked with a fiber optic backbone that includes the use of both multimode and singlemode fiber.
